College Years--RONAC
Rutgers Organization for Native American
Culture
Back when I was in college, I ran a Native American organization at
Rutgers University called RONAC. In the 1990-91 year
(my last year of college) I worked very hard on trying to make RONAC a
success. We had a Native American Culture Night, a
Pow-wow attended by more than 2,500 people, a month-long Native American
Film Festival, a trip to Waterloo Villege to see a
reconstructed Lenape village, various lectures, meetings, and other events.
